 Field Improvements!!!

ORVRCF Members,

The ground has officially been broken and construction has begun on the extensive field additions Mr. Bill Beach has planned and funded for the club.  How do you improve perfection like we have out there now?  Well leave it to Bill who is always thinking of how to make the field we call home just a little more special for your next visit.  Additions like a second identical flying shelter, a permanent concession/cook shelter, and a helicopter landing pad just to name a few.  The majority of this labor intensive process has been meticulously walked through by Mr. Beach himself, and this is no simple pour concrete and hammer some nails kind of job.  He has contracted crews that will be on site throughout the next several weeks.  It is imperative that the construction crews have priority at all times when we are at the field.  This means we yield to them and their equipment, no exceptions.  We won’t be parking in the grass nor setting our pop-ups in the areas they’re working.  The field will not be closed for flying but areas near and around our current pits may be temporarily unavailable.  Your cooperation and patience during these next several weeks is greatly appreciated.  I speak for all of us when I say we are so very fortunate and appreciative to have Mr. Beach contribute all of the personal resources (time, energy, money, etc.) that he does.    If you have any questions, comments, concerns regarding this notification contact Michael Hunt.
